Introduction and Membership Request
Hello Everyone:
This post is an introduction and a request for membership into TOG. I want to be a member in TOG because I am just too good, wonderful and good looking to join any other gaming community  (Heh right... Which really means I'm a pain in the ass and nobody else wants me  ). I've seen TOG for the frist time about two months ago when I returned from being AWOL to Eve-Online. Eve-Online is the game which brought me here. In Eve I am known (or unknown) as Mythos. It was/is good to see others my own age playing Eve for a few reasons, one of which is that it gives me fuel in my quest to convince my wife that others are just as (if not more) nuttier then I am. Thank you TOG.  I'm 45 years old and have been playing games since The bards Tale came out on the Tandy (and no I don't count those games that were on the Commodore 64). Recently (since 2003) I've been a frequent player of Ghost Recon, PlanetSide, BF2 and Eve-Online as well as a few other games. Over the past few years I've worked in security as a Lost Prevention Detective, Site Supervisor and last but by far the toughest job of all - a Stay at Home Dad.  Right, the hardest job of them all.I have 5 kids, three of which are grown with kids of their own and two kids (from my most recent marriage) that are three and six years of age. I have four grand kids whose ages range from three to eight years old. Anyways, thanks for reading this guys/gals and I welcome all the welcomes I can get.  See you in game. Right... Ah, forgot to mention that I did read the AUP & FAQs. |

U have met the strict entry requirements so just take a seat here in the waiting room and an admin will be with u shortly, they will hit u with the big TOG gun..... once u have recovered u can join the rest of us in the Lounge for a chat and a bit of light refreshment

Welcome aboard. If you are interested, we could use an extra gun or two for our BF2 TWL matches. Check out the "TOG BF2 - US/North American Players", "TOG BF2 - Encyclopedia" and "TOG BF2 - Getting Started / Basic Information" stickies in the BF2 forum. I'm sure you will have fun whatever game you're playing with TOGers!

beowulf2947 - Thanks for the invite to play along side of you and other TOG in BF2. I just may take you up on that offer, though Eve is just sooooo darn time consuming I'm not sure when that will be. Thanks again mate. |

.You have now been made a member & have access to all TOG member only forums. The first place to start is the Forum Index. Find the game forum you are interested in, there you will find threads called "Sticky" posts, which contain a lot of very handy information. Introduce yourself & you'll find TOG members coming from all directions to help you get settled. The social hub of TOG is the Lounge where there are many topics discussed, TOG social gatherings & Lans are posted. Enjoy your stay.
