I would like to become a member of The Older Gamers. I have read and agree to the AUP & FAQ. I am 44 and have been CRAVING a guild like this, I work in a middle school all day, all week, all school year - and while I LOVE my job and the kids I work with, I need to not play my online games with that age group all night as well I am very excited about building gaming relationships here!

My game history .... It all started with 100's of hours at bowling alleys playing those good old stand-up arcade games - Asteroid, Pacman, Frogger, and thousands of quarters into Galaxian! Then on to the console world, Nintendo all the way, Zelda and Link my constant companions, as well as Donkey, Diddy, Banjo and Kazooie. PC's came to our home and I played games like the King's Quest series, the Journeyman Projects and the Myst adventures. Then I discovered the joy of playing in real time with online players, my first attempt being Uru, which was amazing but never made it past beta. It was enough to hook me though, it was so energizing to be ingame with people from around the world! From there it was on to stops in Second Life, Final Fantasy XI, Eve and Guild Wars (I still have an active GW toon, but haven't played for a long time), and I currently am blissfully addicted to World of Warcraft.

What else? Female, married, kids, really need online gaming friends

Crickey. I'd forgotten about Donkey Kong. I must have spent so much money in pubs on that I could have bought several PCs (in todays money).

A 6:15am posting. Were you up early? Been playing all night and hadn't been to bed (or just a time-zone/server location thing).
