TOG - The Older Gamers

Heya everyone. My name is Thomas and I found your ad in the guild adverts on the World of Warcraft forums. I think the idea of a site just for us older gamers is just what the doctor ordered and I decided to hop over and see what it was all about. I really like what I've read so far so I'm requesting membership.

A little about me: As I said, my name is Thomas and I'll be 27 in just a couple weeks. That said, I'm often considered an old man by most of the people I know just because I'm a bit of a curmudgeon with anyone younger than me. Plus I already have rheumatoid arthritis, so I think I qualify!

Anyway, I live in Houston, Texas with my fiancee Laura and our four very spoiled cats.

My hobbies are varied from painting to roleplaying to writing to bicycling. I like sci-fi movies, British comedies, and Harry Potter (hey you asked! okay not really).

I started gaming back on my Amiga and haven't really stopped since then. Currently I only play World of Warcraft as a multiplayer sort of thing, but I have a ton of other games I play by my lonesome. I would love to hookup with fellow TOGers in that regard, but hey I'm up for whatever. I'm also up for learning new games!

Anyway, thanks for hearing me out and nice to be here.

Oh and yes, I did read the AUP and FAQ and...other threads with acronyms and I agree to them completely! Yeehaw
