Default ch' ch' changes.

Do I have to sing old Bowie songs to get into TOG?

My little brother is around here somewhere and He dragged me in.

I've just bought BF2 so we can play online together, as family. *Awww*

Hopefully I'll pass muster.

Only ever played Tribes2 online.

Thanks for having me?

Hi mate,

Welcome to TOG.

First thing to do is read this http://www.theoldergamers.com/forum/...ead.php?t=3917 and do what it says there (ie post back here saying you're over 25 etc etc). Until then they won't approve your application.

Once you've done that an admin type person will read your post and let you in.

Probably a good idea to say some more about yourself (gaming history, life history, whatever) so that admin can judge if you're over 25.

Have fun!

Also, if you feel like it, fill in your details in "User CP" (User Control Panel). See link to "User CP" at top left hand corner of this page.

They need to know where in the world you are so that you can end up joining the right clan/gang/squad (because you usually want to be playing with people in your time zone).

Ah. I see.
Ok then. My name is gareth, I'm 32 and I own a computer business in Launceston, Tasmania. I have an awesome home surrounded by trees. I'm an environmentalist/geek/misanthropist happy person with an amiable disposition. I refuse to own a TV and I would like to play BF2 on Australian servers with my brother who is a member of TOG (probably username strangerdanger but he's at work and I'll have to check).
I've read the AUP (there's some nasty stuff in that), the FORUM GUIDELINES and the FAQ. I agree to all.

I'm really just interested in team play as opposed to the incessant clickityclickityclick like CS. So you can count on me as a strong team member willing to do the crummy jobs that no-one wants.

Ah ha. That sounds perfect.

Now you just have to wait for an admin person to whack you with the TOG stick and you're in (usually only a few hours but definately by the end of the evening).

....and welcome to TOG! Enjoy.

PS I'd like to get rid of my TV but my wife won't let me.
