This was our original post on the WoW Deathwing forums and Wisteria of The Old Grudge suggested we look here for others or even membership.

"My guild (Fetalis) consists of 5 RL friends plus a few part timers. we are getting to the point where we have exhausted all 5 man content and would love to see some of the higher 10/20 man dungeons, not only those now availible but those that will appear in the expansion.

None of us want to join the larger 40 man raiding guilds as we all have RL that will impose restrictions on us. we are all pretty much hardcore casuals, what I mean by that is, we play many hours a week 8pm - 1am GMT every night and as much at weekend as we can (usually all day) but at any time we could have to run off and deal with a baby crying or other such distractions.

For us, we all deal with these distractions and TBH it is hardly ever an issue, but it means joining a hardcore raiding guild is beyond our commitment.

What im trying to get to is, there MUST be other smaller guilds on DW that are in the same position as ourselves, and I would love to be able to hook up with those other players to try out some of the harder content on a casual basis.

We may be casual but we are all veterans of MMOs, we all know our classes and we have a balanced team for any 5 man dungeon. Our gear is about as good as it gets for non-raiders, mixture of tier 0 / tier 0.5 some pvp bits etc. Each of us has at least 2 lvl 60s we can call on to make a balanced group.

If there are any other "guilds" out there in the same boat as us please get in touch. Any replies here will be responded to in game. "

So in brief we are 7 or 8 people who have been through EQ1 & 2 ,SWG, CoH,CoV and WoW together who now find ourselves up against a wall with regards to exploring the larger content of WoW.
We are after people to experience this side of WoW (10,20 man stuff) with alliance,mergers or just casual get togethers are all on the cards.

Anyone out there in a similar position and would like to help?

Hey Kakmer,

I noticed your post on the DW forums also but Wis got in ahead of me
You should have a look at the stickied post titled "Potential Members Please Read This First!". It explains what you need to do to become a member of The Older Gamers. Once you become a member of The Older Gamers you are welcome to become a part of any of our guilds on the many different games we play here, including The Old Grudge on Deathwing

Ok thanks fancypants I will check with everyone and see what they think. One thing though can we join as a group or do we all have to join individually as far as i recall we are all using zimmers

Each member will need to make an application. Once you are all accepted (which wont be a problem i imagine) you will get access to all the forums here
