Application to TOG (WoW)

Hi there my name is John and I am an older gamer. 34 to be precise, married with a 3 year old son. Currently living in Edinburgh, but only recently moved here because of my work. I am a research technician in human exercise and physiology.

Ive been gaming just about all my life, my first experiences being both VIC20 and ZX Spectrum. Through pretty much most of the gaming consoles every made and finally realising my budget no longer extends to every single release each month, that and my wife complains if I hog the TV too much for consoles, so im pretty much a PC gamer these days. World of Warcraft to be precise.

Im a fairly late bloomer with regards to MMOs, EQ being my first baby steps, well i needed something to fill my time when not waiting hand and foot on a heavily pregnant wife. It got me hooked and I met some really good mates there that I still continue to game with now. Weve swapped games a few times from EQ we went to SW:G, then got bored of that when we exhausted all the content at that time, moved over to CoH and enjoyed being supermen and women, for me tho I was waiting for WoW. Im a huge Blizzard fanboi, got into the US open beta and pretty much havent left since. We popped back to SW:G for a bit and was starting to have fun there again with a couple new expansions released. Untill Sony right royally mucked it up with the "uber" NGE. Was a sad sad day. But then we went back to WoW and restarted on a pvp server (Deathwing EU) and havent really looked back.

Anyway, ill come to the point. We're a group of 5+ older gamers looking to expand our horizons a bit beyond the Strat/Schoolo/UBRS scene and after writing up a post on the EU forums discovered this lovely community and were recommended we apply here. Mines the first and ill be bullying the others to do their own apps asap. We all have at least 2 lvl 60 characters and we play every night from 8-8.30pm GMT.

Ive read the AUP, forum guidelines and FAQ and both agree with the contents and am happy with them.

If Ive missed anything, just slap me and ill ammend my app
