Default Heya, I would like to join your WOW guild.

Hey,

I'm reasonably new to WOW (I have a 40 priest, 30 hunter and 30 druid on Ravenholdt) and have never played Horde. However fun Alliance can be due to it's somewhat less depressing scenery I do find that the comunity is lacking a bit. I get the feeling that most of the time the good side(tm) will have the Knights in shiny armor, carebears and softies (not saying that's a bad thing perse) and the bad side have the somewhat more goal oriented players.

I'm 36, have a lot of gaming experience and have played a handfull MMO's; DAoC, EQ2, CoH/CoV, EVE and a few other tryouts and ones not worth to be mentioned and I gave Guildwars a spin. I'm a teamplayer, and will normally pick a groupcharacter as I play online games to group and interact with others. If I wanted to solo I'd play Morowind still

I'm not really driven by the need to have the uberest gear or attaining rank 93 and I'm really not a fan of the BG's. granted, only tried it 3 times but to me it feels like Doom3 CTF on a very small map with no surprises. I'd rather play contested and world-PvP. However, as part of a team I'll probably like it a lot, but I never got that far on my home server.

What I'm looking for is a mature, no-nonsense, non-idiot, fun, helpful, friendly, active, somewhat laidback guild. I put a lot of hours into the games I play and I like to be those hours constructive, fun and entertaining. I read about you guys on the forums, checked your site and read and agreed to the requirements for joining.

Right now my only character on Defias is a lvl 8 (yay me!) Hunter as they're self sufficient and easy to play. I can (and will, I'm a proper altoholic) make other classes and if needed will fill gaps in the guild classwise (but dear god, not another priest, not now anyway). The Hunter's name is Cerebus (name was already taken on these forums).

Anyway, I'd like to join you guys and see if/hope it'll stick and give me a more fullfilling guild/group experience, which seems to be lacking on Ravenholdt. Hope to hear from ya.
