Another Older newbie
Is that a contradiction in terms?
In any event here is the official part of the posting I have read and agree to abide by the FAQ, AUP and guidlines. Age statement: I'm not as young as I once was but am not as old as I plan on getting. (Well actually I'm 44 ). A brief history: I can honestly say I blame my father for my computer gaming problem - he started it when he bought a very early Apple II computer. I can also recall playing Pool of Radiance on the C64 (with those amazing ega graphics lol) for days at a time. Then there was a brief flirtation with text based muds. I also enjoy simulators or turn based games such as Civ or Stars. At the moment I (and my entire family) have a moderatly unhealthy fascination with WoW. I was referred to TOG by a group (Titans of Glory, Runetotem) I was running with. Given some of the guilds and attitudes out there I'm thinking an age based guild could be good. When I saw the expanse of the website here and the range of games accomodated I may look at expanding my interests but at the moment it is WoW. See you on the funny pages

Find the game forum you are interested in, there you will find threads called "Sticky" posts, which contain a lot of very handy information.
