Hi everyone. This is my second application. The first one you can read
here and why I didn't join you can read
here but in short it was because the server was under lockdown and I couldn't create a new character. Maybe sounds like I was doing things backwards but I was returning from a two month long break from WoW, wanted to start fresh and I was looking for a good guild before I picked a server.
Anyway. The guild I found on Talnivarr was (and still is) a great guild. However, it has more or less become stagnant. It's mainly a PvP guild and even if i like PvP, I want more from the game then that. But lately everyone seems to be happy with the way things are. The plan was that we should do the bigger instances as soon as we had enough level 60 but recently people has started to leave, either for other guilds or they have stopped playing WoW. A few days back even the GM left.
I have a level 60 Druid there which I'm getting a bit bored with so I started a mage and I'm enjoying it immensely. But I'm a bit concerned about the future for the guild and joining another guild on Talnivarr isn't an option since all of them are "raid 4 times per week or you'll be kicked"-guild. Even if I had that kind of free time, I'm the boss of my time, not some game or guild.
So I've started a UD mage (Johnnyblade) on Deathwing and was hoping I could join your guild - which was my intention right from the get-go. Later, when (if) Blizzard makes it possible for you to, for a fee, transfer your character to whatever server you like, I'll move my druid over to Deathwing as well. He is feral for the moment but my plan is to respecc him to resto as soon as I get some good resto gear.
My real life background is more or less the same as I mentioned in my first application. The only thing that has changed is that our dream came through and we've just finished unpacking at our now home in Visby, Gotland. I turned 41 in May, still married, got two kids and since the move I have a lot of free time on my hand. There is no work to be found here - which is just as much a blessing as a pain. So when I'm not doing domestic work and such, I'm either playing WoW or I'm working on my novel and movie script.
Who am I as a person? People tend to seperat their real life self from the online self. I don't. I know that when you are online, be it a forum or in a game, you interact with real people. So therefore I try to behave the same in my online life as in my offline dito. I try to be helpfull in anyway I can. I someone is being ganked or corpsecamped by Allience, I'm there to help out, even if it leads to running back and forth from the graveyard. When I get high enough level I'm there for any instance if anyone need a mage (providing my real life admits it of cource). If anyone need anything from my profession (Mining / Engineering) just give me a shout. In short: I belive in what goes around, comes around.
I have read the FAQ and the UAP and agree with the content.
Looking forward to some good news and hopefully seeing you all online very soon.
