Just to get the formalities out of the way; I am over 25 years of age (currently 34), have read the AUP and FAQ.

Whilst I am a retro-gamer and tend to play games long after they have ceased to be popular, I am mainly interested in turn-based strategy games (Civ2 &3, JA2 series, Alpha Centuri, etc) but on occasion will play NOLF/2, the Railroad Tycoon Seriesand many others.

I was also a member of the VMA for Interstate '76/Nitro (Haras*VMA*).

I am a martial artist, student of philosophy and strategist.

I am open to suggestion as to what I play whilst a TOG but all of the aforementioned games have depth, style and quality in spades. It would be good if the suggested game/s also had these attributes as I am not normally a FPS player (not really my style) but may try if highly recommened.

Hi Setonix, don't worry about it. TOG is a big place full of warm and welcoming ppl... like me . I don't really have any suggestions as to which game would be best suited for you but I play BF2 which is quite popular, as is WoW it seems. Plenty more to see and do here so enjoy your time with us. Perhaps it would help if I were to say that I have read, understood and agree with the AUP and FAQ?

One of my favourite quotes goes along the lines of:

Rules are made for fools and the guidance of the wise.

Perhaps this also implies that penalties are made for those for which the term fool is inadequate.
