Default Introduction (Resolved)

Hello

I am a 36 year old gamer in the EST time Zone and have read the AUP and FAQ and agree to the terms and conditions.

I am currently playing WOW and have a 58 NE hunter on Vek'Nilash and I am in a guild there that is a part of another older gamers web site (primarily it was Halo 2 with very few people on WoW). Because of the length of the end game instances and a heavy work load recently I am only able to go through one or at the most two 3-4 hour instances in a week. I enjoy this guild and they are understanding of how hectic life can be.

For a little more info on my WoW game play I have also played the following classes to the levels listed.

Rogue lvl 40

Mage lvl 38

Warrior lvl 30

Warlock lvl 15

I do play for the most part daily in the evenings and like to alternate some between characters in order to keep the game more interesting.

I am very interested in the Horde side of the game and my current alliance guild has little intrerest in starting Horde toons. Since I usually play almost every day for at least an hour or so I was hoping to start an Undead Warlock. I would most likely only be playing him about 3-4 hours a week (typically between 8-10 p.m. EST time on about every other night) but it would be very nice to find an adult guild for the Horde side of the game. Although I realize at that low level it would be a while before I could contribute anything it would be very nice to at least know while in guild chat I wouldn't get someone complaining about their teachers / parents etc. This would be a character I intend to take to 60.

I also play several games on the 360 live and have gamed since pong was released however the rest of my family uses the 360 much more than I since I got hooked on WoW a few months back.

I realize that was a bit lengthy and hopefully none of it came across incorrectly. I am not bailing on my current Alliance guild but there are a limited amount of players in the guild at higher levels. Last week there were nightly runs that went till about 1-2 am in my time zone and I am really too old to be playing that late and still function at work the next day. Even if I do not start a new Horde character I would only be doing one or two of those a week. Many of the other characters I have played were not simply out of boredom (although I enjoy several classes) but to help people who started new characters in the guild. I also am not looking for a Horde Guild to carry me through the game I am just looking for players of a similar age to chat with during game play and hopefully help if I can as I level.

I really ran on here trying to cover everything I apologize for the length of the posts

Welcome to TOG Darkcat. Gee, if 36 is too old to be playing after midnight... what chance do I have getting past 8.30pm?

Shouldn't be too long now before an Admin turns up and formally accepts your applic. When you're in, jump into the Lounge and say hi to everyone. You'll be warmly welcomed no doubt. Many happy years of gaming to you and don't forget that old saying, "Eat, drink and be merry... for tomorrow we can do it all over again" Cheers from Sydney Australia
