Default A potential member with a few questions (Guild Wars)

Hello everyone.

I am 26, live in Slovenia (GMT+1), and have read both FAQ and usage rules.

Mind you, this is not an actual aplication for membership, although I am considering it I still have a few questions and since the "contacts" sub-page is down ('page cannot be found'), I turn to the forum (don't want to bother "Father" with it either).

I run my games on an old 800MHz 256ram computer (absurd, I know), which is why Guild Wars is pretty much the only on-line game I play. Unfortunately, this web-page offers little in way of Guild Wars.

Does the EU TOG guild have a separate web-page/forum, since I haven't been able to find any posts about GW here (or indeed any information about the guild at all)?

I have been in both a small guild where I was often the only player on-line, and in a really large guild where everyone more or less ignored everyone else (unless they needed help of course). For once I would like to be in an EU based, mature, and tightly-knit guild. Is TOG what I'm looking for?

How many PvE active members (i.e. who play almost every day) does the EU TOG guild have? Is TeamSpeak a must?

I'm curious about a few other things, but I'll hold off for now...

Thanks in advance for any replies... and sorry for the lengthy post

Hi Ona Nae! While I don't play Guild Wars, I can tell you in the registered forums there are about 9,500 posts in the Guild Wars section. You will not see this because you are not a registered TOGer. There is usually not a seperate geographic forum, just different boards for most games for different regions. I only play BF2 and I can tell you that the Austrailian and European BF2 TOG groups are fairly large and active whereas the US contingency is fairly small. So, it really depends. Someone that plays Guild Wars should be able to give you more specific information on the activity of current players.

Thank you for the kind wishes and advice, as well as for the membership I will start browsing the heretofore inaccessible forum in search of greater wisdom (yes, I like big words) the moment I post this reply.

I can see from the warm reception that older gamers are the way to go!

Thank you again.
