TOG - The Older Gamers

Hi my name is Megan Wiseman. I'm 38 and I've read the AUP and FAQ and agree to all terms.

Currently I'm only playing WoW and Diablo online, although I also play Magic Online occasionally and have in the past played Matrix Online (it was kind of dull though so I let my membership lapse). Right now I'm mostly interested in joining a WoW guild to find members to group with for harder quests. I mostly am interested in RP, not particularly interested in PvP or Battleground play at the moment. That may change as I get more experience and level up some characters though.
[EDIT] Oh I almost forgot, I also play tabletop RPGs of many sorts, and collectible card games (though not as much as RPGs and video/computer games) like Magic the Gathering. Been playing DnD and such stuff since I was 13 (about the same time I got into video games, lol).

As for gaming history, I've been a gamer since my teens, when I spent much of my allowance down at the drugstore (or later at the arcades) playing Asteroid, Pac-Man, Galaga, Centipede and other 80's games. I was too old for my parents to get me a console, but my brother and step-brothers had NES and SNES consoles, and when I got into college and got my own computer I started playing PC games. I didn't get into console games myself until I had my own kids. But now, I have three kids and we have a total of three PCs, three TVs, 2 PS2s, a Nintendo GameCube, an Xbox, and soon to have at least one, maybe 2 Xbox 360s. Plus when the new Nintendo Wii comes out I'm getting one!! Our entire family plays...even my three year old has her own mini-controller for the PS2 though we haven't gotten any games for her yet and she's too little to play what the rest of us play. Not to say she doesn't pretend!

I'm on the East Coast of the U.S. (EST or Greenwich -5:00) and I usually play in the evenings on weekdays and weekends. Occasionally I'll play during the day on weekends. I work as a technical writer, so I'm an office drudge (though a highly paid one, thank god).

My id on TOG is tygerkitty but on WoW my current character names are:

Atasha, nightelf Hunter at lvl 10 on Cenarion Circle RP server
Patisserie, Tauren Druid at lvl 3 on Cenarion Circle RP server

I just started playing so those are the only ones I have at present. Totally willing to create new ones on whatever server TOG members favor, though.
