'Lo there folks!
I'd like to join you! I have read your FAQ and Agreement, and meet the age requirement.
A few things about me; hrm, let's see. I attended college, graduated (philosophy), and, predictably, have not used my education to any remarkable end. In addition to computer gaming, I have a healthy tabletop roleplaying group that meets on Saturdays to test its latest "soon to be published" ideas, all of which have yet to see print. I began gaming in the '80s with games such as Buck Rogers, Centipede, and King's Quest I. In the '90s it was Eye of the Beholder, Dune II, Dark Sun, Betrayal at Krondor, Baldur's Gate, Diablo, The Elder Scrolls series and that most deadly appropriator of men's lives, Everquest. Since EQ, I've been gorging myself on a steady stream of MMOs. You name it, and it's probably consumed an inordinate amount of time that most would say should have been spent reading books or making money. The atmosphere of these forums is a breath of fresh air; it's rare to find such a relaxed and loose-knit group of people that can retain courteous and respectful demeanors while supporting such a wide range of gaming interests. I treasure that and would love to become a part of it. Thank you for providing this haven! -Aron |
