Hail, Older Gamers!
Greetings, all!
I'm applying for entrance into The Older Gamers forums. I've read the FAQ and AUP and agree to their conditions. Furthermore, I attest that I am older than 25. I heard about your site on the World of Warcraft recruitment forum. I've been playing WoW for a while now, and while I've had a great time with it, it'd be even better to find some cool, mature folks to hang out with. I'm excited to have found y'all! Let's see, as far as background info goes... I started gaming on the Atari 2600. Our first cartridge was "Asteroids" which my brother and I played nonstop for hours. Watching us blast boulder after boulder into oblivion, my mom expressed concern over the level of violence. I'll never forget my Dad's response, "But... they're just shooting *rocks*!" Rock on, pop! From there, I grew into a fan of just about every pen and paper RPG I could lay my hands on. Today, I'm a working stiff who's married and has two awesome kids, so I am only really able to game at night and on the weekends and could never keep up with the big raiding guilds. Gaming is my way of relaxing at the end of the day, and it's so much more enjoyable when shared with fun people, especially folks in a similar boat who are looking for a laid-back way to see new places in the game and advance at a casual pace.
