Default I'm old, I'm a gamer, so why not?

I was just checking out your interview of Gaute Godager and figured I might as well sign up considering I'm an older gamer myself...

Though my being 31 might be laughable to some of your REALLY older gamers, I am at least "all grown up", and having a wife and kid and house and job makes me FEEL old if nothing else

I've read the FAQs and the User agreement (AUP)...

I've played a lot of the MMO's that are or have been out, pretty much all but UO, DAoC, and AC, (but played AC2, BIG mistake)

Shadowbane was probably my fav for overall fun factor despite its inherent flaws, Was never impressed with WoW, and didn't last long there...

Player/environment interaction is probably my #1 factor in liking a game (and no I don't mean PvE combat) thats why I liked SB so much, and AoC is making me crazy with anticipation.

I am a Clan Elder in the Snowhawk Clan, http://snowhawk.clans.net, and have the same user name there and on the AoC official forums...

Hey, thanks for letting me in, the game I'm most interested in ATM is Age of Conan...

I really think thats going to be THE game for Older gamers, not just from the M rating.... but a lot of us that are into reading *SHOCK* BOOKS are also Robert E Howard fans...

Welcome Sturm - why do you think AoC is going to be such a big deal?

The combat for one, numpad based, no auto-lock... no setting attack and going to get a sandwich!

The world for another, Hyboria is just badass, and even though some concessions will be made to REH lore purity, its still a great place to have an MMO..

Its slated to be M rated, and as such its also geared to older gamers who have less time to play, apperenly you could powergame through a lot ofthe content quickly if you are like that, but they have purposely taken into account most of their subscribers will have famlilies and jobs so have made it geared to ppl with 10-15 hours a week to play...

Less focus on gear, less focus on raids (thought they have them, they will have lots of solo content and also chain-quest type raids, or so teh devs say anyway)

LOTS of other reasons make this the MMO of choice for older gamers

EDIT: I'm also playing Ryzom to kill time, I'm Snowhawk in that game, add me to your friends and we'll hook up
