TOG - The Older Gamers

Hi there. I'm joining mainly with the plan to play Lord of the Rings Online with TOG - hopefully in the Beta. I've just retired my WoW main (60 troll rogue) and am now hoping that Turbine get a move on and don't screw up. In the meantime, GTA:SA and Fable are getting a quick run-through.

Personal info-wise... I'm a transplanted Brit living in Arizona. I do engineering for a big aerospace company - yes, I'm a cubicle farm-dweller. I live with my significant other, but no kids and my gaming is definitely evenings (US West coast) and weekends.

I've been a computer gamer since the Sinclair ZX81 days, and a fantasy gamer since D&D first edition, though much more on the computer side in recent years.

Obligatory confirmations:
- I'm 35.
- I've read the AUP & FAQ.

Welcome to TOG Gunghoho

A funny thing happened to me on the way to this thread, I just applied for the beta for LOTRO and was having a troll through their forums reading posts that you had put there, come here to welcome some new comers and yours is the first thread I open. SPOOKY HUH?
