TOG - The Older Gamers

I'd love to be considered for membership in TOG. I was born in 1963, I have read, and agree with, the AUP and FAQ, and am looking for a mature online gaming experience.

I am married (non-gamer) for 22 years and have an 11 year old daughter (GameCube gamer). I work as a Storage Area Network administrator on mostly EMC and Brocade, but some HP and McData, equipment. I've been in IT, in one form or another, for 15 years.

The only online game I play at this time is the CoD series (1, UO, 2) but mostly United Offensive. I live in Kansas City, MO and play after dinner / homework helper / bath giver / bed time story reader, or about 9:00 PM CST US. Lately I've been hooked on the "Modern Weapons" mod servers but I still bounce around. I like to snipe in Arnhem, bash snipers in Povlov, spray and pray in Stalingrad, kar98 in Casino, and AK47 on Modern Weapons Mods. I can't stand campers, I sometimes get excited / emotional when I play, and I hate cheaters.

I started using the alias Weasel back in the early 90's on a Wildcat BBS that I use to co-sysop in Connecticut called Sam-I-Am's. When Theodor Geisel (Dr Seuss) died we got a “cease and desist” letter from the estate’s lawyer and changed the name to The Looking Glass BBS. I was a member of the ARF clan in Battle Zone (that game was great) and was pretty active on several Blackhawk Down servers.
