Greetings, looking to join!
Hello, I just registered here and have read and agree to the AUG, forum guidelines, and FAQ. I'm very interested in joining your guild. I learned of your site from a post by Galias Aloysius on the Lord of the Rings Online message board, and I'm interested in joining The Osgiliath Guard kinship for that particular game.
I'm 31 years old and I do applications development (Java) for a living with an IT services company in the Dallas, TX area (central US time zone). I typically game a few hours after work each day (7 until 10PM) and in the early mornings on weekends. The only MMO I've ever subscribed to was Star Wars Galaxies, which I enjoyed for about six months. But when the NGE came along I quit since I could no longer craft and do combat. (Crafters were made combat level 1  )Right now I'm playing the free trial for Dark Ages of Camelot and I'm really enjoying it. I still haven't made up my mind if I'll end up staying after the free trial until LOTR Online comes along. Are there any TOGs here playing DAOC on Gareth, in the Midgard realm? I've also got quite a collection of Xbox games, and my Live gamertag is RedlineJunkie. Recently I picked up Star Wars Battlefront II and Unreal Championship II, so I'm ready to start playing those online. As for other PC games, I'm playing through the Neverwinter Nights campaign right now and I'd like to try multiplayer eventually. I also have Call of Duty 1 & United Offensive, Far Cry, Diablo II, Half-Life 2, and Counter Strike: Source among others. Looking forward to joining you all! |
