Hello, OG folks, I am interested in learning more about your organization, and possibly joining. My name is Bullmastiff, I am 39 years old, I have read and agreed with the AUP, FAQ and forum guidelines.

I'm going to be starting up in EVE Online this weekend (using the name Bullmastiff) and I'm interested in joining a Corp that is stocked with old fossils like me. There's no urgency to this application -- I expect I'll spend what little time I have over the next week just learning the controls. But I thought I'd throw my had into the ring.

As I said, I'm 39, and gamer since I was eleven. (Remember the original D&D blue books? I played those. Old school, baby.) I have a lovely wife and two children, as well as three dogs and a cat. I work for a medium-sized tech firm in southeastern Wisconsin. My professional background is weird and checkered -- basically, I'm a pro-level geek who is also a pro-level writer. I've published in many magazines which you would recognize, but I'm also a true-blue networking and hardware thug. This has led me into some interesting situations.

Anyway, probably factors more than you really wanted to know. I note with distress that your MMORPG section doesn't have an EVE thread. Am I missing something? I found your site through the EVE list of alliances, so I'm a tad confused.

Feel free to clarify, ignore, accept or spurn as seems appropriate.
