TOG - The Older Gamers

Hi! I'm Shel (which was taken, so went with my 'online persona' paygem), I'm 34 years old and play World of Warcraft. I've read the accepted use agreement and the FAQ.

I live in the middle of nowhere Wisconsin (though only 30 minutes from Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota) and have a 12 year old son (who also plays WoW). I'll be getting married early next year - and my fiance also plays WoW. My dad is the one who got us all hooked on the game... I've been playing video games ever since I can remember and own WAY too many of them (Atari 2600, 2 Nintendos, 2 SNESes, 2 N64s, Gamecube, Gameboy, 2 Gameboy Colors, Gameboy SP, 2 Segas, Sega 32x, Dreamcast, 3 GameGears,3 PlayStations, PS2, and X-Box - and I'm probably forgetting somthing). In other words, I'm spoiling my son rotten since he has a gamer girl mom! RPGs are my favorite genre of games.

I'm currently in a great guild on Proudmoore, but we have about 20 characters in our guild - made by about 10 people - all of which I know out there in 'real life' - so the conversation is great, but now that we're all at or around 60, we don't have the numbers to really do anything to progress in the game. This has caused a lot of frustration and our already low numbers are going down with people switching guilds. I did some research to find a good guild and ToG fit right in there, especially with the 25 or older age requirement being a HUGE plus

Hope that if I'm accepted you won't mind if I recommend ToG to the rest of the 'elders' in our guild (my fiance and dad for example).
