A little help w/forum name please

I'm Ravenau deLusan on the PotBS forums. I registered here some time ago as that name (at least I think so). Anyway, I can't login under that name. Tried the lost password thing. It says it sent me login info, only it doesn't. Tried to register, but it tells the email address is already registered... Hmmm seems to be a catch 22 here.

I registered the RdL name using my work email, but I don't want to keep that. Can an admin fix this please? Just delete the Ravenau name if necessary & I'll reregister it.

Try logging in with the name "Ravenau de Lusan" (note the spacing) and see if that resolves your issue.

If you can't get in, use the password reset with that name and see if it works. If that gets you in let me know and I'll remove this account for you.

Thanx, I was able to get into that account. However, there seems to be problems with it - I can't see any threads when logged in, even in this forum. I can see some threads when not logged in at all. Also, no signature and other options are missing. If you can't fix whatever rights issues it has just delete it and I'll make another one. Thanx again.

Nothing special about that account mate - you haven't made any posts with it at all, either. You aren't actually a TOG member yet, as you need to confirm that you are over 25 and that you have read, understood and agreed to the TOG FAQ and AUP. Once done, you will have access to the private forums and can join our guilds.

If you can post with the other account, please do so with the above information and we can make you a TOG member.

It appears as though you haven't completed registration of the other account, which is why it isn't working correctly. Follow the original email sent to you by TOG and complete registration, then you should be set.

Hmmm... I can't post with the Ravenau de Lusan account b/c when I login with it I can't see any threads. I have no 'original email' from ToG to complete my registration. If you'll look at the account you'll see I made it quite some time ago. Obviously, something went wrong if you don't see the agreement box checked, because you can't make an account unless that's done and the age information is filled in.

Why don't just delete that account, please.

Ok, I can't delete the account directly, but I have fixed the registration issue with the "Ravenau de Lusan" account, so you should be able to post with it now.

99% of cases where this happens the email sent to you by TOG gets caught up in a spam filter. Not saying this occurred this time, but it is quite common.
