TOG - The Older Gamers

Hello all!

My name is Jeannette and let me first begin by saying that both my husband (Matt) and I have read your AUP and FAQ and agree to them.

We are both 33 (soon to be 34...eeek!) and have been playing MMORPG's for many years now. We reside in Michigan, where I am employed at a Veterinary hospital, and Matt works designing vehicle powertrains. We are recent newlyweds, and I have an 11 year old son.

We have been playing WoW since it's days of beta! Both of us with multiple level 60s, we just transferred our druids from the Shadowmoon server to Emerald Dream, in hopes of finding a more mature crowd. Luckily, this new server seems to hold just that, a community that (so far) appears to contain mature, respectful members.

I was referred to you via the guild recruitment channel and decided to have a look around your forums. Obviously I was impressed or I would not be posting here.

As far as in-game experience, both Matt and I have completed end game, having been to BWL and back. We really are not looking to get in to "hard core" raiding again, it takes up so much time and it seems the older we get, the less patience we have. While we do not mind the occasional raid and helping fellow guild members out, we simply cannot commit to it more than once/twice weekly. Our main objective this time around is PvP.

I should tell you now, we are aware that Emerald Dream is a role playing server....but we're not the best at it when it comes to speaking in character, etc. So while I probably will never be able to explain in RP detail how my night elf came to be, rest assured there will always be mature, intelligent and humorous words spoken from the voice behind the toon.

Welcome aboard! Glad to have you, and don't worry, as far as end-game plans, we're very laid back. The push for end-game content should never interfere with our ability to have relaxed fun =D We're much more into an obscene amount of alts, truth be told...heheh
