Hi all -

I was in Guild Wars recently moaning about my love for MMOs and the reality of 3 young kids, a job, a wife, and always having something to do or fix around the house, when someone in my party mentioned your group.

Whoa

I thought I was somewhat "with it" in the PC MMO gaming culture but had somehow missed your org completely while at the same time wishing for exactly this kind of affiliation.

Anyway...

My earliest game was Adventure on a mainframe in my dad's office, like 30 years ago. I remember playing Bard's Tale of a C-64 as another early one. As soon as MMOs went big, I went through Asheron's Call, Asheron's Call 2 (sigh), Shadowbane, Earth and Beyond, SWG (sigh), WoW, EQ2, and EVE. I'm currently playing Guild Wars and just signed up for the DDO 7-day trial. What I really looking forward to this fall is LotR and Vanguard. If I am not playing with my free time, then I'm probably surfing ogaming, mmorpg, and stratics.

I guess I pretty much fit your profile. Although I wish I could play all the time, I usually play at night after conquering the 3 mini-bosses in the Bedroom Pit and finally the end Boss in the Kitchen Castle. (24 hour timer) and I occassionally play on weekend mornings. Professionally, I'm a systems project manager for a large corporation.
