I'm also far, far over 25.

I'm located outside of Chicago, Illinois, working as a software support person for a financial company. I've been married for 13 years, no kids, but several cats.

I dabble in fiction writing and art (both computer-based and hand-drawn), and enjoy tinkering with web-site designs. I do quite a bit of reading as well, and some of my favorite authors include Neil Gaiman, Orson Scott Card and William Gibson. I'm also a bit of a movie/TV junkie, and have recently discovered "DVR" is another word for "intravenous" to someone with my habit.

Most of my gaming experience has been (and still is) pen-and-paper roleplaying games since 1980. My computer game interests over the years have leaned toward FPS such as the Doom, Quake and Unreal series.

Recently I decided to get into the MMORPG world with Guild Wars, and have got a mere 6 hours under by belt so far. After listening to a lot of the chat "noise", I decided to go out on my own, since it looked a bit difficult to find "good" players to team up with.

However, I figured there had to be some non-young-turk players of the game out there some where, so I Googled "Guild Wars Older Players" and ...TADA!... here you are.

I'm looking for a causal group of people that I can jump in with as time and wife (

) permit.
