TOG - The Older Gamers

Hi all. I'm Wachow's wife, as previously mentioned in his app post. I'm a 29 year old gamer, and I'm thrilled that he found a group centred around mature gaming. I firmly believe that most women are discouraged from playing games like World of Warcraft by the crass, rude, and often hateful locker-room atmosphere that seems to permeate them.

I've been online gaming for quite a long time, starting with Infoquest games as a child, to MUDding and MUSHing in college, to games like EQ and City of Heroes. I'd just about given up on MMORPGs when my best friend gave me the demo code and the install CDs from her copy of World of Warcraft. <sigh> The first one's always free, isn't it?

I'm now thoroughly addicted to WoW, with a couple of Horde toons on Runetotem. I look forward to playing with you all.
