TOG - The Older Gamers

Greetings,

A couple of friends and myself are looking to play Eve and TOG is a logical choice. We all work at HostNexus which has helped TOG along since teh early days and I personally helped Stefaan with the transition to a dedicated server a few years back. I'm 34, live in Japan which is just an hour behind Melbourne, Australia. Have no really PC gaming experience but when our Sales VP (Mike) showed me Eve I was hooked immediately. And playing with a community would be awesome.

OK, nearly there but you'll need to confirm that you've read and agree to the AUP and read through the FAQs as mentioned here.

As soon as your TOGerised and have access to the forums, make sure you drop by the EVE section. There is a thread stating how to join the Corp and it will be great to see you online !!

Hi Hicks - looking forward to getting involved. Can you tell me the name of TOG's Corp and which Empire it's in so I can start researching?

TOG has a few stations with Offices, Yuizer is probably the safest depending on your location of course. I am new to the Corp myself and I love it, it's renewed my love for EVE and the whole Corp is great !!

The tag is TOG and the name is of course, The Older Gamers. Nice and simple

Hey Hicks - so when I join the game I should choose Yuizer as my location? Want to be closest to Paragon Soul (is that right?) as possible for when I'm ready to make the haul to TOG space. Apart from that, I'll see ya in the EVE forum which I've been reading solid for teh last few hours.

There are other offices around, but thats a "main" one I know of in Empire you can sign up at. You wont be able to "start" there but you can fly there. What will be easiest is to set your clone to one of the stations in 0.0 and "pod" yourself to head to 0.0 fast. Before you even think of this, get the skill book Infomorph Pyscology I think it's called and any other skills you need right now and can learn.

Some of the older TOG members will be able to give you more information either here on the forums or in game as well. I will try and get a couple to post here or look at the thread as I don't want to give you the wrong information and so on.
