TOG - The Older Gamers

Good evening folks. I'm here to introduce myself and to ask to join your clan. Im a 35 yr old family man with a wife and 2 daughters (who are all gamers themselves). I have read the FAQ and the AUP and they are quite reasonable. Im a network technician in St. Louis Missouri USA, I heard about TOG from Tommat72 and Nepthys, I work with Tommat72 and he has told me great things about the people he has been gaming with.

The last few months my main game has been World of Warcraft, but I consider myself a 1st person shooter fan at heart. So on weekends after a few hours of WoW I'll often log into Call of Duty or BF2 for a few beers and frags. Like many of you I have been a gamer since long ago. I played multiplayer Quake 1 on a 28.8 modem and thought it couldnt possibly get any better than that!

I consider myself a fairly casual gamer. I play around 4 or 5 nights a week, I'm good for a few hours on weekday evenings, but Im a chronic late night gamer on weekends. Usually playing WoW during the afternoon/evening on weekends, then after a few beers I'll get an itchy trigger finger and go do some fragging in BF2 or Call of Duty2 till the wee hours.

I have 2 Alliance characters on Runetotem, a 21 Dwarf Pally named Beerbarosa, and a 29 human mage named Mordenkainen (yes, Im a D&Der from way back too! I still have my basic box set from 1982, but I do like the new 3.5 edition rules ) Ill often be grouped in WoW with my wife or one of my daughters, so I like the idea of a clan of mature people who understand the priorities of someone like myself.

It is easy to burn hours like minutes when you are into a game...
