TOG - The Older Gamers

Hi,

A partnership in life and in gaming, we would like to join TOG and transfer from our current Guild in Guild Wars. We have read the UAP and FAQ etc and agree to abide by these.

We (Trystan and Joanne) are both 34 and have been playing GW for something like 18 months and have been in a Guild for about 10 months of this. Since first buying the game we have had our own accounts but since shortly after Factions was released we have concentrated on our shared account (that has all three Collectors Editions on, we love it that much hehe).

Trystan (Trig) is the more frequent player but Joanne (JaB) is hard to shift from the chair once she has control of the keyboard.

Joanne works (funny hours!) in Catering and Hospitality industry, and Trystan works wrestling owls for a living (okay Owl Keeper, like in a zoo...), and we live in northern England.

The reason we wish to leave our current Guild and transfer to TOG is that the other players (as nice as they may be, and we wish them well) are somewhat, um, obsessed with 'faction farming' and the 'ownership' or not of Cavalon. As the only players in the Guild (or indeed Alliance) that seem to solely pve we tend to feel pressured to pvp and guilty for not doing. (We both tried pvp and were rubbish and hated it!) While the others tend to leave us alone mostly that contradicts the reason for being in a Guild in a way. Besides, we miss the community aspect. We like to join in the chat channels when two-finger-typing/killing Charr/Oni/Heket allows.

We hope that our application to join TOG is accepted and look forward to joining a mature gaming community that both respects and shares in enjoying their gaming experience.

Trystan & Jo - Welcome to TOG! You sounds as if you would fit in fine here at TOG. You application looks in order, but you will need to make separate requests for membership to join.

In the meanwhile, you just need to read and agree to the AUP and the FAQ

Awesome but just like Beowulf said you will each need to apply separatly to be granted a membership of TOG.

Thanks for responding so quickly. I dunno, not even on the scene 2 minutes and we're challenging the system eh?

Honestly, as there can only be one of us online at a time and would clearly state which was posting etc it didn't occur it might be a problem.

No biggie though and if there can only be one person using an account it's been democratically decided that I (Trystan) shall apply on my own. Jo is less technically inclined - or as she put it, more likely to stuff things up on her own - so I am to be designated driver and she'll be backseat driver (sounds familiar!) Just let me know if I should need to put in the registration process again and I'll get on to it.

Btw, our main characters in GW are; Alixia Ariadne lvl 20 N/Mo,
Kinziri Jal lvl 20 Rt/R.
