Hi all. How's it going? And is there room for one more?

This will be my first joined guild ever. Two reasons for this. One, I was acutally put off to the idea of joining a guild because lots of the antics I keep hearing about, which reminded me of my Greek rush days in college. But I'm going on a limb here, and hoping that my first experience will be the best ever. I'm very attracted to the idea of gaming with a more mature crowd, and I'm hoping that this guild will be a good fit for me.

Reason #2? I'm new to gaming, and kinda a wallflower at it, too. Sure, I had some brief stints with Baulder's Gate and Starcraft, but I wasn't too great. And now, I'm surrounded with missions, quests, characters, and people galore!

But I've been getting my feet wet. I'm on the verge of deleting my first character, Sway Avante (Me/R). I think I just started off wrong with him, but I still like playing him when people aren't killing him off. My other two are gearing up nicely, Nala Avante and Kalor Avante.

Another reason I want to join is because I'm a young professional in California, so I'm kinda expected to put in lots of hours at work, and I know that TOG can understand that.

So, please, be gentle. Don't drop me on my head, and let's play!

Great to see you here, and your posting suggests you have read my sticky and are well on your way to completing the steps of joining a TOG guild on your server in game.

You will find you time with TOG very relaxing and rewarding place. As a relatively large guild we have fully outfitted out guild hall with all the NPCs so that you no longer need to rub shoulders with the unwashed masses after your battle, but can adjorn to our club house to sort through your booty and equipment without being nagged by traders spamming the public chat channels.

Starting and ending your gaming session in our Guild Hall also gives you a chance to meet up with other guild members as they sort their own stuff out.

As soon as an admin signs you up, access our private forum and post your ingame name and a bit more on your near and future goals and we will help you along your way.

Then you can read up on some tips and relatively undocumented "features in game" which has evolved over time. Such as the recent addition of stack splitting in your inventory using the shift drag click and other such good stuff.

Download Ventrillo and plug in your headphone and mike so that you can chat with your fellow guild mates. This is always voluntary, but it makes a big difference to the atmosphere if you can hear the death gurgle or triumphs of your team mates in game.
