Introduction
My name is Lauren. I'm 25 years old and live in Boston, MA. I play games in the evening, usually within the 6pm EST ~ 12am EST window. I found a listing for your community on the LotRO forums, and after a little trolling decided that I would fit in well here.
My online gaming started with text-based games produced by Simutronics, and later I joined the staff in creating another online text game (It's similar to a MUD) called Haelrahv (www.haelrahv.com). I did a great deal of development and systems coding for them until I started playing FFXI at which point my interest in HR became almost non-existant. It took me two years, but I finally kicked the FFXI habit. After that, I tried DDO, Star Wars Galaxies, and WoW but none were able to hold my interest for long. I'm very much looking forward to Lord of the Rings Online. Like many people, I've been a fan of the books since childhood.  About me... I love computers (I have a mac and a PC), programming, drawing, designing websites, sewing (I make dicebags for the people that play DND at my apartment on Sundays :P) and going to the gym. Look forward to getting to know everyone. Edit: I have read the Acceptable Use Policy, the FORUM GUIDELINES and the TOG FAQ. I agree/understand all of the above. |
