Interested in joining TOG

Hi all. I'm a 52 years young, long time gamer. Started with pinball machines, then on to the first Space Invaders console (I remember the first SI console in the Melbourne - Frank's Black Rock Burger Bar) and moved on to computer gaming in 1995 (Ok so I was a late starter.....lol). I got hooked on online gaming with Need For Speed High Stakes in 1999.

What has always done it for me is the community that goes with online gaming. Unfortunately I watched our Need For Speed community fragment into many different clans and I lost contact with many great people. I have tended to steer clear of clans as I considered them to be too restrictive. (eg...you must display your clan name at all times, you must belong only to this clan etc etc etc).

Which brings me to my point. I am currently an admin on a gaming forum (http://forum.needforbetterspeed.net/) which incorporates a clan to which I do not belong but I've been a forum/community member since 1999. I am a forum admin and I would like to continue to do that but I'm looking for a community to do some online racing with.

If you people have no problem with me joining the TOG community and remaining a forum admin at NFBS then I would like to join TOG.

I mostly play racing games (GTR2, V8 Supercars 3, various NFS titles) and have recently got rFactor and the V8Factor mod. I live in Alice Springs, NT and do shift work so I am available at odd times (I get 4 days a week off.....)

Judas, I don't actually have Most Wanted installed at the moment. It never went back after my last reformat. I do have NFS Carbon, but it's a little arcadey for me. I'm having fun doing the offline and I may give online a go sometime but I'm leaning more towards the V8Factor and GTR2 V8 mod these days.
