English, Wordy, Female, FFXI Refugee Seeks GW Family
Hello Everyone,
I'm Lisa, I'm 27 and I'm from Staffordshire in England.
My Guild Wars experience hasn't been very long thus far -- Prophecies is my Christmas present from my sister, I have Nightfall for myself and am hoping for Factions in an after-Christmas Sale -- but I've already seen that a good guild is vital to getting the most out of (and just enjoying) the game.
I suppose that the lack of a subscription fee may mean that Guild Wars is more appealing to younger players -- who lack a credit card and thus can't play games that require one. I find myself seeking out some experienced, mature company in Guild Wars, and thus TOG is the place for me.
I've spent time reading your site -- including accepting the AUP and FAQ -- and I'd love to get to know everyone better with a view to cajoling you into accepting me into your guild in future. TOG seems like it could offer me guild of skilled players who are dedicated to each other and the game, and who aren't afraid to experiment and try new things.
I'm looking for a great bunch of people who will help me learn the game and develop into a player who will support them in turn.
I have previously played a great deal of Final Fantasy XI, so while I lack GW experience, I've played a MMORPG before. FFXI is ALL about grouping and working with others, so I'm used to that kind of dynamic. I generally play in the afternoons/ evenings England time. I hope you'll look me up in game. I'm a ranger by the name of Liesse Swift.
Thanks for Reading.
