New to TOG as well as Guild Wars

Hello everyone,
I am Robert and would love to join your group, sounds like you all have a lot of fun. Just so you know I am very much over 25 (unfortunately) and have read both your AUP as well as your FAQ and have no difficulty with either of them.


Well I suppose I should tell you a little about myself. I am single except for my dog Kate and we live in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. I am currently retired and spent my working career in the aviation field. I have many varied interests, I enjoy building things; everything from building model aircraft to the real things. I dabble with art both traditional media as well as using my PC, I am very interested in learning 3D modeling and animation and am attempting to learn an open source program called Blender. I have enjoyed building my own PC's for years and run a multi boot system, most of the time I run the Linux OS but keep Windows around mainly for the gaming.


I have enjoyed playing PC games for a number of years now but have not spent much time playing on-line until now. I enjoy UT 2004 but am not that great at it, not like the kids that seem to play it on-line and when I tried to play on-line I seemed to make some of the people angry that I was in their way. I just bought Guild Wars Nightfall a couple of days ago and have spent several hours playing it and thoroughly enjoy playing it. I am still clueless and at times just wander around aimlessly but it seems like there is a lot of that going on. I have figured out enough to progress some what and have managed to be finishing up level 4. I was invited into one of the guilds but do not really care for it and would love to find a new one to join. I saw TOG mentioned on the official Guild Wars website and the description that they provided about you all was very interesting so I decided to see what TOG was all about. After spending some time on your website I feel like I will fit in here and would love to get to know some of you.
