New Recruit? (Vanguard)
Hi there..
I was browsing the VG forums and came across a post looking for older gamers that caught my eye.. I'm 47 so I think I definately qualify in that respect. Your guild sounds like just what I am looking for. I'm old and married with grown kids and usually play evenings and weekends (Pacific). I've been playing MMO's since Meridian 59 in the mid-90's and have played in most of the well known games. I tend to gravitate more towards PvE than PvP though I do enjoy mixing it up from time to time. I've belonged to several guilds, large and small and even ran a few of them. I'm still friends with the members of some of those guilds but apparently, not enough of them are coming to VG to reform our DAOC guild (for example) I'm a slow-leveling, very casual player and look for guilds that like to have fun but who don't take themselves too seriously.. a good sense of humor is a must. I generally don't worry about how fast I level up or how good my gear is but rather focus on just having a good time while I'm logged in. That's not to say I don't have some competitiveness or that I have no desire for the finer gear.. it's just not a priority. Anyway, let me know. I'd definately be interested in joining on a trial basis. [EDIT] Forgot to add that I've read the AUP & FAQ etc... - CJ |

Thanks for the warm welcome, all. I guess I'm still in limbo but will hopefully get approved soon.
I was wondering if you have a guild running in the Vanguard beta? If so, which server? I have my main character on server 2. (Not much beta time left though so I suppose it doesn't matter much). |

An admin should be along soon to approve you mate, keeping an eye on the thread.
And aye, we have an active guild on beta server 1. During the beta though we too are using a bunch of servers including the PVP server. At launch we'll congregate on one to start with. |
