introduction
Hi everyone.
my name is joe, and i have a drinking prob........ wait. wrong intro. My name is joe and i am 26 and living overseas ( England ). I have been playing games, tabletop and computer, for over a decade now, and am moving on to Vanguard when it launches. i have been active in mmos since planes of power in eq, and have played Eq (65 wizard ), Daoc (50 thane ), and WoW (60 priest, hunter, warrior, warlock, mage, rogue ) mainly with a few others thrown in ( stuff like rfonline, cabal online , etc ). I have recently quit Wow due to general unsatisfaction with the game and with the time requirement for any sort of meaningful progression, as well as with the majority of players being extremely young and immature. I was browsing graffe's recently when i saw a pitch for TOG, and it definitely sounds like the kind of group that would make starting off in a new mmo fun and rewarding. I have read the AUP and Faq, and the forum and server guidlines. Welcome to TOG mate,
Sit tight and an admin will be along soon to whack you with the TOGstick. While you're over this side of the planet please drop by the BF2 forum and read the "European Players" sticky thread. It'll give you our XFire usernames and Teamspeak server details.......that way you'll be able to link up with some TOGgers in your current timezone. Find the game forum you are interested in, there you will find threads called "Sticky" posts, which contain a lot of very handy information.
