TOG - The Older Gamers

I do believe this group is exactly what I've been looking for!!!

I swear or affirm that I:
1. Am over the age of 25. (I'll be 32 next month!)
2. Have read the AUP and FAQ.
3. Have read the forum/server guidelines.

My name is Brian. I live in Boulder, Colorado, USA (Mountain time zone). I'm currently a World of Warcraft fiend, and I play mostly after work. I'm a graduate student working on my Ph.D. in Physics at the University of Colorado. So, there will definitely be some times when I'm way, way too busy to play..

But, I'm normally playing at night on weekdays, and sometimes during the day or at night on weekends. My wife (a nurse) works nights, so I often play until the wee hours when that happens, which is about 3 nights a week.

I've got a level 60 main and some others (all Horde) on the PVP realm Dentarg. I do not recommend that anybody ever, ever start a toon on this server. The guilds are all way, way too hardcore for me, so I've had a lot of trouble finding both the maturity level and the time commitment I'm looking for. The guilds all either raid every night and kick you if you don't show up, or there's no activity at all and the whole thing just falls apart.

So, I'd love to transfer to a realm (preferably normal instead of PVP) where there's a guild of more like-minded people. I'd be fine with making time occasionally for nice raids, like on weekend afternoons, but laid-back is also a quality that I need.

So, are you guys what I've been looking for? I really, really hope so.

Oh, I do play some other games occasionally, but they're mostly FPS, like HL2. Haven't done much online with those, especially since I've been a WoW-addict, but there's always the future, isn't there?
