I was in a grp today killing the green witch with a guildy of yours (should have written down the name) and I saw the guild tag <The Older Gamers>. While I am a fan of more RP type guild names, I could not but think that I definately fall into that category and got a chuckle. Intrigued by the name I jined the TOG channle on the server and asked for guld info and was directed here. Kind of supprising to me with all of my years gaming that I have never been to this site or heard of it. What I did find I liked. It is refreshing to see a code of conduct and age requirement. I am soooo over childish banter and fighting in MMO guilds. I have been surfing many websites looking for mature guilds, but from experience I know many are very clicky and so I have my reservations. I cannot say with a guarentee that TOG will be a good fit, but I can say that I like what I have read so far and I would be willing to put an investment of time into it and give the members and guild a fair chance before "jumping the shark". I would like to find a place to hang my guild tag for the length of the game and make new friends along the way. That being said, here are the answers to some of the questions:

I live in Orlando Florida and am married with 5 kids. I work from the home and my wife owns a mortgage company in town.

I have been playing RP games since I was in the 5th grade, and started online gaming with the release of EQ1. I played EQ1 until the time of EQ2's release and began to play that. I played that up until 1 week before the launch of Vanguard. I have always been a fighter/melee class ingame and think I make a descent one. During my years playing EQ I was a hardcore raid type for a while and was a guild MT. I find I just don't have the time for an evening commitment anymore and play daytime (9am to 7pm) timeframe with some weekday evening play time. An evening family life is more important than gaming (hope I didn't blow anyone away with that).

Anyway, when you read this thread, send me a tell ingame if you think I would be a fit.
