gday all , first off id like to say thankyou to TOG for creating a site for older gamers(i turn 40 on sunday).
i read in the FAQ'S that TOG like their members to wear the TOG tag in game where possible, what id like to know is, is that only for the Clan/competition games or for all TOG members regardless??
the reason i ask is that i put the [TOG] tag on my name , but in the game i had a TOG member tell me to remove it,so as you can imagine im in a bit of a quandary bout it,any help would be appreciated

Default Clarification

Mate, you must be a TOG member before you can wear the TOG tags. That being said, I have checked the member list and you are a member (Feb 2007) so you can (technically) wear TOG tags now. Each different TOG division/guild/squad may have slightly different rulings on when tags are to be worn, so you should probably check with your division/guild/squad leaders for clarification.

Also, sometimes the member list doesn't update immediately (admins are always overworked) and you may not have shown up as a member at the time that you were asked to remove your tags.

Check with your bosses/team mates first before you display them...just in case.

Hope this helps.

I'm sorry diabolus but you're incorrect.

To wear TOG Tags you must be a member not just a registered member.

To become a member you must first register then read our FAQ & AUP & be over 25.

You must then make your introductory post here in the Barracks stating your agreement to the above & that you're over 25.

You will then be TOGerised & only then are you able to don the TOG tag.

Zargo, read the sticky posts at the top of this forum, then post back here with the required info & we'll go from there

Default My mistake

Sorry CannonFodda...my mistake. You can put me back in my box now!

I thought that you only showed up on the member list once you were officially TOGerised.

Sorry for any misunderstandings zargo (cringes)....please don't hit me CF.
