Application to TOG
Hello,
My husband and I are older retired folks with grandkids. We are currently 53 and 60 years old respectively. We live in California. We play Vanguard now but played EQ1 and EQ2 for the last six years. We have met a few people from TOG in Vanguard and when we asked about the guild were directed to this site. After reading thru the myriad of information here we agree that we would like to get invites for a couple of our characters into TOG. We have a couple dwarves on Targoner that we would like to get invites for. One is named Shield and the other is Menda. Shield is a warrior and Menda is a cleric. Thank you for your assistance with this request. We look forward to getting to know many of you in Vanguard and others on these forums. I hope that you don't mind us having only one account here. Since my husband does not type particularly well and I type only slightly better we generally do our posting to forums together and going through the effort to register for two accounts seems a waste. Hello again,
I forgot to mention that in the reading we did thru the site we did read thru the AUP and FAQ information. It was well presented and left no room for confusion about appropriate conduct. It is nice to be in a group of adults who can appreciate the sensibilities of us grandparent types! We like to have fun and joke with the best of them but humor and fun does not need to be fulgar. Finding guild groups in MMORPGs has been difficult for us because we don't appreciate adolescent tendencies toward vulgar expression. We also understand that TOG is not just a guild. That is an aspect of TOG that makes it very appealing since we have lost contact with many people we really enjoyed over the last few years with game changes and we are hoping to establish some more lasting relationships here.
I posted about reading the AUP and FAQ info as you were posting that I needed to. Hope that met the requirement. |
