TOG - The Older Gamers

Getting the technicalities out of the way.
I am over 25 years of age (35 actually).
I have read and accept the FAQ and AUP.

I have been playing Guild Wars for about 3 months now. It is my first foray back into online gaming since i finished with Diablo 2 back in 2002. That makes me anchient by computer gaming standards

But here i am, and I really enjoy Guild Wars, because I don't have to play 6 hours a day to have fun and play at the same level as others.

So why am I here? Well, i am currently a member of an In-game guild, kind of by default because my brother is an officer there. However, they have all been playing since GW came out, and i get the feeling like i am 'tagging along' because i don't know all the in's and outs of every skill, and all sorts of builds for every circumstance etc....and it isn't really a very big guild, so i'm kind of outside the clique. So i really enjoy the game, and playing on teams, but am looking for a new guild as my current guild experience is starting to negatively affect my enjoyment of the game.

I am hoping to find a larger pool of people, so I can play with people who fit my gaming style ie.. out to have fun, (even if i have to ask what a "smite" is.

) I like what i have read about TOG and their philosophy, so want to check out the Guild Wars forums to get a feel for the people, and see if i want to join one of TOG's In-Game guilds. Thanks.
