TOG - The Older Gamers

Hello!

I found the link to your organization from the WoW forums this morning, and I had to find out more.

My husband & I have been playing World of Warcraft for about 2 years. We've tried a few different realms and toons, but hadn't found a stable guild of mature folks to enjoy the game with. So, I was excited to see this website!

I am 26 years of age, and I've been a gamer most of my life. WoW is the only MMO that I've gotten addicted to, although I'd tried EQ2 and Guild Wars. I enjoy most console rpgs, and I love playing The Sims 2 on the PC.

I have a retired 60 resto druid that I can transfer to Proudmoore if needed, and a few other toons that I've shelved. I've been in several guilds, and done some raiding (not much). The amount of drama has discouraged me from raiding, or power-gaming. My husband also has several toons (a 60 shadow priest on Cenarius is his favorite).

I've read both the AUP and FAQ, and have registered with my lowbie mage's name Merilla.

We are in the Central Timezone, and usually play for a few hours in the evening. More on weekends. Sometimes I play during the day (since I'm home).
