1. You are over 25 years of age. hehe, yeah I am past that mark and then some
2. You have read the AUP & FAQ yes, and I agree with it 3. You have read the forum/server guidlines. yes and I agree with it as well I live in Danbury CT, USA. When I was in the military I got to go Down Under and a few other places around the world. I work in Information Technology and have been working with computers in one form or another since '78. That doesn't mean I know anything about them though. hehe. As far as gaming, I blame my Mom since she started me out when I was 5. Currently, I play Civ4, BF2142, and I am trying to get through Gothic 3. MMO's I have played in the past are MTREK, Mechwarrior on GENie, The Realm, EQ2, EVE Online, WoW, DDO. I am currently pre-ordered for LOTRO and this is where I found you as I was looking up for a guild there. Later in the year though depending on how LOTRO shows up, Warhammer Online (I've been playing GW games for 20 years but mainly 40k, though I think Blood Bowl is their best game with Space Hulk and Hero Quest close runners up) and Age of Conan as exciting prospects for my game time. As far as style of play, I tend to have too many characters but I am going to try and just stick to one in LOTRO probably as a dwarf armorer/guardian since I like crafting and getting stuck in. Dwarfs are usually my favorite race ever since I played D&D first edition back in the day, although I liked The Fantasy Trip better as a rule set. Gotta love Steve Jackson et al. Anyway, I look forward to gearing up and tromping in the lands of Middle Earth with you all, and maybe later some other lands too. ;> Mike |
