Interested in joining TOG
Greetings,
I would like to join TOG for Guild Wars. I have children who qualify to join so I meet the minimum age requirement and I have read the AUP/FAQ and agree to the terms and conditions. I live in Chapel Hill NC and just retired from IBM after working for them for 30 years. Currently deciding what I want to do with the next 30 years of my life. This is my first online game, as I never had time previously to indulge, but over 25 years ago played AD&D as a player. In fact Miasma was the DM of our bimonthly games of about 8 software engineers and spouses. Miasma was the individual who introduced me to GW about 5 months ago. Recently it has become quick frustrating working on quests/missions with individuals that were less than reliable and sometimes a henchie team just won't cut it and the discussion of joining a guild in attempt to find reliable assistance developed. Miasma discovered TOG and joined and I was privileged yesterday to have been asked to join a couple of missions led by Nyhla Dahl in which besides being very successful was quite enjoyable as well. I would like the opportunity to continue that type of gaming experience and I believe TOG is the guild that would enable me to do such. Thank you for your consideration. Later |

Howdy Galen, and welcome to TOG. You will find many of the people here have almost the same story to tell that you do, regarding playing online games. I think you will be surprised how much more fun playing a game, any game, with TOG can be.
