Hi there!
I've read the ToG FAQ & AUP and forum guidelines and didn't run away with my tail between my legs so, I hope you won't do the same after reading this.
My name is Lorie, I'm 33 and I am addicted to video games (especially multiplayer). I've played video games since I was 9 years old when Pong was considered the "best game ever!". We never had much money when I was growing up so, it was a real treat when my da brought home an Atari. I've been hooked on games ever since. At the moment, I play only World of Warcraft as I also work full time at a veterinarian, take care of my husband, my cats, the apartment, paint storefront windows, do the errands etc etc etc..... I was born in Florida to a Southern father, Irish Mother and have lived all over the U.S. At the moment, I live in Washington State.
What I'm looking for in a guild:
Friends. People to quest with, chat with and occassionally raid with. I'm not very into the large, 40 man raids. I prefer 5 to 10 man instances. My schedule is unpredictable so, its very difficult for me to plan ahead for raid nights. I love helping others with their quests and to enjoy the game as I do so, when I am lucky enough to have a free night, I am more than happy to help out. I LOVE to joke around and have fun. My pet peeve in games is people that fight over loot. Afterall, that epic is just a bunch of zeros and ones in some cold, dusty computer server somewhere in the world... its not worth losing friends over.
Characters on Proudmoore:
Malady 62 Warrior/Protection spec/Blacksmith/Miner <horde>
Dreary 64 Mage/Frost spec/Alchemy/Herbalist <horde>
Wispshade 60 Rogue/Combat spec/Alchemy/Herbalist <ally> <Rarely play>
Lianeth 32 Hunter/Marksman/Jewelcraft/Miner <horde>
Why ToG?
I've played WoW since its release date and I've always heard good things about your guild. I started the game with my own guilds "Casket Crew" and then "Wardens of Fate" but, they were primarily created in order to talk to family & close friends using guild chat. While I still talk to my friends, many have moved to other servers, have very little time for WoW and are unavailable when and if I get to play. Some have moved to Alliance side of Proudmoore vowing to never return to Hordeside

. Others still, have been replaced by alot of people I don't know well and who never respond when I say Hello in guildchat

. I'd like to broaden my horizons a bit, meet new people and have fun! One of your members, "Whitetree", mentioned you to me a while back and at the time I wasn't looking for a guild but, I am now and I hope you'll consider me.
Thanks a bunch!
And Thanks again to Lamorte for answering my 101 questions about ToG before I came here.
