Default Request for Level 2 - Full TOG Membership Status

G'day all

I have recently found a post about your site/guild on another forum site and am interested in finding out a bit more about the "older gamer" concept.

I formally advise that I am a 44 year old Guild War player who agrees to accept the FAQ & AUP.

I am geographically located in Melbourne, Australia and have all 3 chapters of GW and have been a PvE player for the last 6 months (mainly in Tyria as my main Level 20 W/R character "Sparrow Warrior").

I mainly play GW at night (after work and my daughter has gone to bed) and sometimes on weekends (mainly Sundays given school sport commitments on Saturdays).

I have been in several Guilds and am currently serving as an officer in the original Guild that I was ever invited into - The Order of Forgotten Heroes - (I note that I have gradually migrated back to this Guild via natural attrition and by keeping some of the members on my Friends List).

The type of Guild I am looking for is one with "mature" players who don't constantly spam and who are friendly and helpful towards other Guildies, Allies and other GW participants (LOL finding the latter, I'm afraid).

I have not yet ventured into PvP and am quite happy "PvE exploring" either by myself or with other Guildies on missions/quests if needed for help.

I don't actively trade items and seek to give most of my "surplus" gear away to other Guildies (as was done for me in my first Guild when I was a "noob").

I do not seek to be the "best" GW player in the world and do not like associating with in-game people who seek to degrade others with so-called "shortcomings" (ie. wrong skill builds, inappropriate actions, lack of knowledge etc).

I am interested in learning more about the TOG concept and, ultimately, possibly joining the Australian based members of the TOG Guild.

Kind regards

Shane

G'day and welcome to TOG.

You're application looks good to me, not much else for you to do at the moment except relax. An Admin/Mod type person will be around sooner or later with their magic TOG wand to stamp your application. Once membership has been granted, you'll have access to the Private TOG forums. Have fun.

I'm sure you'll enjoy the company in TOG GW mate, they're a good mob.
