TOG - The Older Gamers

Greetings, everyone! To get the formalities out of the way:
1. I am 25 years of age (turn 26 in July)
2. I have read the AUP & FAQ.
3. I have read the forum/server guidelines.

Now for the fun stuff!

I am currently living in Maryland, USA. My location will change every few years while I'm serving in the military. The wife and I are still unsure of how long we'll take this military career. So far, so good.

We don't have any children as of yet, but after reading Ninox' articles, we have somewhat of an idea of what to expect. I will probably fall out of my chair laughing the first time the reset button gets pressed.

I must say I'm very excited to have found this guild. Initially I was a little hesitant since you guys are involved in so many games, but when I think about it, that's really quite an advantage. No matter what game you decide to play on any given day, you'll probably have a few buddies there as soon as you fire up. On top of that, you can get a good feel for the kinds of games that are out there by merely talking to your guild mates. Instead of spending hours downloading demos (which I really don't mind too much) or dropping a few bucks at the store to play a game which "appears" exciting, you can get some real reviews from actual people who fit into your age group. I feel very fortunate that I meet the age requirement (I meet the cut-off by the skin of my teeth!). I like the casual atmosphere, the humorous (yet accurate) guild name, and the extremely well-written articles posted by the members.

I plan to focus mainly on the "Gods & Heroes" game when it comes out this Summer (that's where I noticed the post about this guild), but currently play WoW mainly. I haven't fired up Diablo II in a while, but I'm willing as it's a very entertaining game. I have a copy of Battlefield:2142 but haven't opened it yet. So many games, so little time!

This is one heck of a guild, and I really look forward to joining. Thanks for taking the time to read!
