Default New Concept Art

Looks like EA / Dice are going to release a little bit of info about the Back to Karkand pack each week.
This week they have release some concept art for Wake Island. I am not a huge fan of Wake but this looks pretty good:

I dont really like the comments that they want a defined frontline, the thing I liked about bf2 was the open maps so I really hope bf3 doen't become linear.

I would like to know where they were heading with the US aircraft carrier to have it parked where it is in that picture.

From the picture and comments, it also looks like the map is going to be smaller and with different buildings than the original.

I actually didn't mind the frontline concept as ffow introduced it. It'd be interesting as an alternative play mode.

Isnt there a small wreckage in BF,BF2 wake island at that location? Don't think it could be the main US spawn...imagine the spawn deaths! its bad enough with the boat out in the ocean!

Correct, in BF2 wake island, there is a smaller boat wreck in the central water part, something like a fishing boat or similar. The US carrier has always been a fair way out to sea reachable with just the high speed inflatable boats or by jet plane.

Ok, the big new today is if you live in the UK, you can order a Limited Edition: Physical Warfare Pack. Here's the link
The type 88

It also includes this, the DAO 12 (I loved this shotty in BF2):

And these:

There will be a pre order pack for the US as well, it just hasn't been announced yet. I hope a pack comes to us here in Australia.
