There is some lag, but I dont think its a game breaker. It felt the same in Star Trek Online. And I believe it would be lessened now that they have a west coast server too

thats why I picked Caprica as its west coast .. thats where our direct pipeline runs to isnt it?

Another reason I initially picked caprica is because it is a new server with low population .. gives me a bit of a chance to figure out what the hell im supposed to do and how to do it without constantly getting spread all over the star system .. however some of the missions would be much better and alot easier if we grouped up. Im happy to change to where others are

I get lag spikes which can come at very inconvenient times but i think its just part and parcel of a browser based game .. however i havent been on a heavily populated server so dont know the worst of it

I don't notice the input lag anymore to be honest. The controls have significantly improved over the course of the beta, that much is certain. Some might also have to do with me upgrading my piloting skills and engines, though.

The introduction of chase cam helped a lot as well.

I'm on Tauron (EU) btw. Cylon side.

I have been in Closed beta for a while, with a character on Scorpia. I just started another Cylon on Caprica to be on the US West coast. Is someone putting together a Cylon TOG wing on Caprica? I would be happy to join, create, run it, whatever is necessary.

I really want to get on and join you guys on the Caprica server but for some reason the servers only let me log into the European servers.
When I select US servers I dont get logged in and get returned to the home page.
European servers log in fine.
I've logged it in the forums and will wait to see what response I get.

Each and every time? I had that happen to me the first time I tried logging into Caprica. I kept clicking it until I got in (4 or 5 times). Once I created that character, Caprica is now my "recommended" server and I get in right away.

There were some problems when the server was first brought online. I have also personally experienced a single random server crash (booted me) on Caprica that I've never experienced on Scorpia. I don't think the server went down, I was back in the game too quick for the server to have had time to reboot.

So how do we go about forming an official TOG Wing on Caprica (Cylon, of course).

Doh! I rolled a colonial on Caprica and a Cylon on Scorpia

I rolled Cylon on both. I'm further along on Scorpia than Caprica. Can't say I've seen a decrease in lag by being closer to the West coast. Then again, I haven't been on Caprica long enough to tell. I don't care where we make a Wing, I'll make that my main server. Let's just do it -- Cylon, of course.

maybe we should make a Cylon wing on Caprica and a Colonial wing on Scorpia ? That way no matter what flavour you feel like then there is a home for you ...
