Oh yes I know it has been out for quite awhile now ... And well between that and ... /faceplam having to work, I have totally neglected this blog that I have been blessed access to! Well fear not fellow toglets and nublets for I have finaly clocked round one of the game after about 72 hours worth of my life!

This is everything I was wanting and more, I love it and once they make it legal I will marry my games and sexy them to make hybrid versions of them and then I will take those and marry them off to various members of ... oh um sorry about that anyways, how #$%!ing funny is this guys reaction to his mates setting him up! First through I will give you some background on why he is so upset, to get to where he is at the first play through of the game without using any walkthroughs or hacks is pretty hard and nerve racking, he would have died ALOT (in true DS style of course) and the boss on the first encounter is pretty dam scary so ...

OMFG ... tell me you didn't laugh and the devestation on his face and then I will call LIES!

Pretty much guys there is nothing more I need to say as apart from Demons Souls this release is very well known now .. just buying it and enjoy getting your ass kicked, oh and by all means hit me up on PSN if you want to PvP .. delushin <3

Ok lets get this straight from the start ... this entry is about a PS3 title, and yes it is for the hardcore gamers! "Oh console is for casual wanna be gamers, if its not on PC then its shit!" ... Well nub enough with the versus this versus that I have had it! I love my PC and my PS3 and my 360 and my wi... well not as much as the others that ones just for Mario ... BUT FFS your either a "Gamer" and you can apretiate all platforms and the products (when they deserve it) or your a "Burnt out winger who can't let go of unimportant formalitites" :twisted:

Alright now that all the wanna be gamers have closed the browser and called mummy to help pick up their bottom lip, which has become lodged between the floor boards of the attic where they reside ... lets get on to business!

This game is so HARDCORE if you think that you will in any way "own" this game with a mad KD ratio then don't even bother because you will get used to seeing this message ...

And you will try again only to see ...

And then you will get frustraited and try and rush past some "weaker" enemies only to find ...

:D HAHAHA its not a joke you will die, A LOT! However for some reason even though there were times I wanted to through the controller at the trophy wife *** SLAP :eek: *** "sorry baby just saying those things to try and make people laugh, I don't mean it" ... anyways maybe this video can help explain how intense this game is ...

Also just for LOL's and please BE WARNED there is some bad language in this video, do a youtube search for "Demon's Souls - Difficulty = Bullshit" that guy let it get to him :p

See you get it now ... YOU WILL DIE! ... but it is so dam addicting that you go back for more and more and more ... finally a game that is like some old titles ... finally a game that will KICK YOUR EFING ASS!

Mechwarrior: The Resurrection

I would be really surprised if there were TOG members or anyone so bored with life that you have taken the time to read this festering pile of roses, that did not have hands on or visual experience of the Mechwarrior game series.

Maybe it wasn't your thing but at the end of the day you know about it and hopefully know just how much fun the game releases were. The titles ran from MW1 through to MW4 and also gave birth to a number of expansion packs, one of which MW4: Mercenaries was.

How to explain this?

You know when you know your about to get laid?

Well take that feeling of happiness and sprinkle some caster sugar on top and you have something similar to how EPIC <-------- YES EPIC! That add-on is :D

Then as with all great things that I vow to marry it died in the ass (game love that is) with MW5 canceled in order to focus resources into the mighty BOX.

Yes there was a recover attempt around 2007 but it didn't go far and my research on this hasn't really found anything of real excitement that is worth posting in here. But knock yourself out to make me look bad.

Then sometime towards the end of 2009 a total conversion mod for Crysis emerged, at first the hype was contained to a small group of long bearded oompa loompa's who had been exiled for their addiction to crack, but then attention slowly grew taking the mod through 2010 picking up groupies left, right and center ... and now in 2011 we have a total conversion for Crysis Wars that is bringing back the forgotten battles of massive machines, laser beams and rockets.

The current release is still in beta but available to anyone who has the Crysis Wars game and I can't stress enough just how much detail and effort has been put into the game, the developers deserve for this to explode into the resurrection of one of the best genres ever!

I wouldn't dare waste words and time by running through features and abilities when its inevitable that your going to click the below link and check them out, this is going to be huge so join the growing bandwagon and enter the world of a Mech Commander in:

So I have been running with the old GTX 480 sli for a good few months now and it has given me some great gaming, I mean pretty much every game was maxed out so what is wrong with that?

Nothing its "ok"

So I have been thinking about upgrading for a bit now and today the evil dragon that rules my ... *SLAP* "ouch sorry babe I didn't know you were looking over my shoulder" *cough*

I mean so today the sexy girl who I love with all my heart fell victim to my manipulation techniques (chloroform works wonders) and agreed that I need an upgrade :twisted:

AND NO I AM NOT TOO OLD ... anyways I am currently in /happy mode and then I was thinking "Oh crap what a huge bottleneck with my current CPU clock" ... You see I went back to stock for fear of blowing up the neighbors meth lab with the amount my BEAST would fluctuate the local power grid, but to run stock with those cards slowly melting my desk away would be so nineties :w

So it was back to the overclock board (not that I am a pro by any means) ...

Mission install completed ... :D

God I love that smiley face above ^^ I am just like that atm ... ok ok no bench tests yet as I was saying the OC is needed first, now its very common for the i7 920 to be seen around the 3.8 - 4.0 mark and prior to taking the next screen shot below I did have it sitting at 4.0 mind you that was without any stressing so just cause it past the post doesn't mean it was going strong ... so I settled for 3.8 I mean I am happy with that considering the stock is like 2.66 that's a pretty good increase and because I am soooo impatient I could only handle running the 3.8 for 20 mins but I mean the temps don't seem that bad do they?

The max I hit after 20 mins was 80C ... not sure how bad that is after all I am only kinda new to this stuff but hopefully nothing attempts to start a local campfire in my case and I limit the bottleneck with my new cards!

Please feel free to flame me for anything I have done wrong but if your going to swing the nuts around then make sure you back it up with a solution ... young fellas these days always complaining but never got any ideas for improvements ... :)

Pfffffftttttttt ... Everyone needs to be part of censorship every now and then :)

So, I can't remember the actual date as such that The Witcher CD "violated" my computer (ok ok, I liked it) but roughly 5 months prior to this "invasion of sanity" (again lies I am a fan) I made my weekly visit to the local game shop to let them know that it's cheaper online...

I see this collector edition type box with a mean looking wolf like thing on the front. <----- Yes this sentence is proof that somehow I missed the "if any" ultimate forum orgy regarding the release of one of the best RPG's ever ...

This was a box that I had noticed in the same place for a couple of trips now, so why was it still there?

Del, you sad lonely excuse for a troll ... Play this game it is good!

Purchase made and I was off see lucky for me I was so far being the times with this game that I was about to experience it from the "enhanced edition" still full of bugs but can't image what it must have been like beforehand.

Installed ... /epic (yes an overused common term for things that are, well epic) this game was epic! The sun came up the sun went down I had my quest log and mind set on making a change ...

Success! My first ":twisted:" encounter and what was this a reward? A card? What is on that card? :eek:

Due to the fact that I am so lucky that when I am doing things right great stuff happens but if I do something wrong (and according to the missus, this was wrong) I normally get an open hand to the head ... See it just so happens that my "Gaming Den" was breached by the "Dragon Lady" love of my life at the same time that this "Witchery" took place and the game decided to give me a card along the lines of the one shown here but well ... worse!

No it wasn't really like that but yeah there was some reassurance that I wasn't going to attempt to shrink myself into binary code and marry the picture on screen.

Was there anything they left out of the title? So the reason why I wanted to share that is of course due to the upcoming release of The Witcher 2! ... SICK :D

I have since began preparations for the event and added a retinal scanner and voice code to my gaming den, in addition to this just in the extreme case I am infiltrated, I have booked a few days at a relaxation retreat for the other half (because I am a nice guy and love my girl and for no other reason) ...

With an expected mid year release I thought it was now to alert other followers of The Witcher to prepare their game rooms too ...

Have a similar story or just want to share the love / excitement for this release ... comment below I promise not to tell :w

Well keeping in line with the current direction of my blog which, doesn't really have a permanent topic as such ...

I would like to ask for those who may find their way to this tiny space, huddled away in some dark dingy corner of a run down pile of connecting train lines, who play host to many aspects of life that some how despite great engineering manage to always collide in to a pool of salty sad faces; one; if I may simple question ...

When you have those days that get you down, what do you do to help raise that head above the smelting pile of never ending waste?

See it is times like those that I believe is an excellent capture of "essence" relating to what being human is about, for many years I was exposed to a world where it wasn't good to show weakness. Regarding "weakness" there was many different levels and rather then give you a run down of a section of my life that wasn't the most "I'm proud of you son!" kinda of experience I will keep it easy and just say for hypothetical purpose; Your out at a party everyone is getting drunk but see because of what you do you have to drink as much as everyone else and some, but at the same time your not allowed to let people see how truly smashed you are and are about to get ... you have to "up hold" an "image" and from this scenario it basically means you couldn't ever talk to someone about things that just might be getting you down, which over the years just became the way it was and in turn the ability to express negative feelings was lost, am element that is us was masked.

So the great thing about being human is the fact that one can acknowledge the presence of this habit and do nothing about it ... or flip the card; accept, change and grow!

Push the above nonsense to the side the personality that was once is now not ... so again simple, nothing more, how do you make that dull fact of life hit the highway?

Please share your tips ... what have you got to lose? Its not like anyone's reading this anyways :p

So I am a little bored today, yes I am at work and yes there is a number of things I should, could and would do but I just scored Deus Ex for like next to nothing. You would be correct I am currently downloading it to my workstation ... :twisted:

Ok so during my selfish act of stealing the entire sites bandwidth for personal gain I slowly drifted off back into a state of hard drive trawling ... you know we all have them those portable HDD's that we store lots of random funny videos on, well atleast I do?

Anyways this game is one that I have been looking forward to for awhile now, I had every avenue covered or so I though. Where the hell was my email telling this was released dev's?

Righto, so what we have here is an action- rpg for the iPhone running on the Unreal Engine 3 and at the very core of the game-play well it kinda of repeats, but what I am most excited about is the potential.

So we have a sexy looking medieval "one on one" duelist game, and you better warm those fingers up this series of gaming code picks up every touch made along with the angles which could be the decider on a win or loss.

There are a few other things you can do during these battles however if your really interested do a google search and find someone who has more time to explain stuff your properly not really interested in anyways.

Lets get to my point...!

Let me ask you this:

How long until we start to see bluetooth gamepads for the iPhone?

Add a connection to our HDTV's, plus the continued development from gaming companies does anyone know when they will release the iStation 3?

Let me know what you think ... would you put a pre-order on one?

Diary of a Tank Commander...

November 7th, Outskirts of Murovanka.

Intel reports of enemy forces just off the North East from the village center. The entire make up of the team is not known but scouts have spotted a hostile Hummel prior to radio comms going down, the last known location was sector B0.

I quickly noted down the info on my map:

Our plan was simple, at this stage wait for visual and then flank with Platoon 1 from A5 and support with Platoon 2 K5 - F5 leaving my Platoon ready to rush the forest.

If things did decide to take a turn for the worse then it wasn't but 10 minutes max for another support unit to arrive coming in from F1, but as always this was subject to change.

Lack of sleep didn't help and often was accompanied by paranoia, I have lost count at the amount of times I have draw my pistol only to realize I am about to unload a round into a bent lamp post.

I suppose better that then coping a slug in between the eyes.

The recent bombardment of artillery shells had left us with low visibility add the smoke and haze to the dense forest I wasn't keen about balls out, but I didn't get to where I am knitting socks either.

That's when I saw it "Muzzle Flash!" I yelled but there was no chance of dodging it, I can remember hearing the shell tear through the metal of a friendly ISU-100.

It was like a hot knife through butter, and that means it came from something a lot bigger then its prey. Screaming into the drivers ear "GO, GO, GO!" I was slammed backward as our T-44 pulled each gear "E5 max throttle, then F9! Lets get ourselves a rabbit boys" It was hunting time better to engage early then let the heavies close in.

Dangerous? Yes but had there have been another red in that forest then there would have been multiple shots, after all this is war and a kill is a kill.

We reached the village center and changed course for a very risky flank on something I was hoping had not changed position.

Then out of no where, a massive thud lifted the tank off the ground and slammed down with so much force it felt like my spine was going to spear the dirt beneath us, at first I thought it was a rock or car then, smoke filled the cab and I could hear the idlers spinning freely "We've been TRACKED!" I belted to my brothers.

My vision was shifting side to side and no one was responding to me "FIX THE TRACK!" that was when I noticed I couldn't even hear my own voice.

The ringing slowly turned to muffled sounds "pop the hatch, I have the kit" barely breached the inner ear of my pounding skull, as I scrambled up out of the hull like a roach when the lights flicked on, I turned to the left and stood frozen.

I was staring down the 88mm barrel of a Ferdinand and despite all the noise around me I swear to this day I could clearly hear the crew "RELOAD, RELOAD!" ...
